A sweet and sharp blueberry sauce on strawberry fromage frais. So simply yet so satisfying.
Take as many blueberries as you need, a little water at the bottom of a pan, bring to the boil and simmer until you get a nice thick sauce, this will take a few minutes, add a touch more water if the bottom starts to stick before thickening. Add sugar if nessicary but for me the yogurt balanced out the sharpness perfectly so no added sugar here.
Of course you can go even simpler by sticking blueberries in a blender but I prefer and have to cook my fruits more often than not due of my IBS, either way you have to give this a go, so tasty. It would also be great on ice cream, whipped cream, trifle, cake etc etc.
