I love to do creative and fancy baking but i equally love simple and quick home baking too.

Chocolate sponge cake with whipped cream filling and topped with the new Cadbury Philadelphia and a sprinkling of grated white chocolate, a good hearty, naughty, tasty cake, simple but satisfying :)

As always the weather is rubbish so today i had to use the flash, making the cake not as yummy looking as it actually is, the photo makes the sponge look a little dry, it's not.

I used the recipe i always use when making a simple cake or cupcakes

I'm not sure on it and I haven't even tried it. :XD: I think I shall stick to making my own toppings. Still, I guess it was worth a try. Just seems like a very strange combination.
