homemade chocolate peppermint cookies covered in white chocolate and sprinkled with crushed candy canes

I didn't have the time for perfection today, i didn't even use cookie cutters. I rolled the dough into small balls and just popped them in the oven. Once cooled i quickly dumped the cookies into melted white chocolate and whilst still sticky added the candy canes.

i wont give you the cookie recipe i used as it was not as good as some of the others i have tried so just take your favourite chocolate cookie recipe and add a few drops of peppermint extract to the dough, once baked and cooled crush up candy canes with a rolling pin under a cloth or in a bag so they don't fly everywhere. melt at least one big bar of white chocolate and dunk cookies in, you have to be quick before the chocolate starts to harden, make sure to put them on a none stick sheet else you will never be able to get the cookies off without them breaking and whilst still melted sprinkles on the candy canes :)
