Cookie Plate + Bowl With Fruit + Chocolate Dip Fun by claremanson Cookie Plate + Bowl With Fruit + Chocolate Dip Fun by claremanson
Gluten free cookie plate, bowl and a chocolate ganache dip for strawberries, banana, apple and raspberries. Basically you dunk your fruit into the dip then you can break parts of the cookie plate into the dip before finally eating the cookie dip bowl.

My fiance and kids had lots of fun eating this, it only took them 5 minutes to destroy it.

I used a basic sugar dough recipe from the BBC [link] i used a silicon cupcake case as a mold for the bowl and i just rolled out a small plate shape for the base.

I know this is not the best photo, i took so many but now that summer is ending so is the lovely natural light. Once Autumn comes i will probably not be baking so much, it will be getting much to dark to photograph.

Unfortunately, I must inform you that a user by the name of ~ElectricitySock has posted this deviation as a video on his YouTube account - [link]. Your deviation appears at the 0:12 mark.

You can find my comments on his videos (under the name TheWanderingAngel) advising him to either remove the video or seek the permission of the original artists.

I'm currently trying to warn all the artists whose work has been stolen. Again, I'm sorry this has happened

That seems like a great photo to me! and I understand about lighting. I have almost no light in my house because I'm between two buildings :(

I am a perfectionist so get very frustrated when i can't fully capture the yumminess of something so i won't be baking as much now until next year :( not fun, creative stuff for photographing anyway.

I understand. I thought I was finally getting to figure out this camera of mine and NOPE turns out I really don't. I should try to locate the manual, I guess. lol

:giggle: i hate using manuals, so far not read mine! looking at your latest photo, maybe it was because you were photographing the shaded part of the tart not the light side, that sometimes messes up my photos. It happens a lot in autumn and winter and i can't do anything about it because the light is so bad the camera tries to over compensate (i don't know the technical term) and over-saturate it trying to get more light in and the shutter taking longing to do it's thing.

Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. However all of the other shots (not taken from the shaded area) are also CRAZY saturated. It took a lot of work on photoshop to try and make it somewhat better.

The problem is that this new camera (new for me, but old) is completely different from the ones I have previously used.

I have no timeeeee to read the manual :(

The question is, is it actually working for them? Or are they still falling into temptation? :XD: Still, good for them for trying. I'm sure it's going some way to helping. ^_^

Lee is doing very well, going to the gym 3 times a week, not so sure about his diet though, always brings junk food to snack on around here but he's burning it all off at the gym. Carl is doing no exercise and is living on salad for the past week so not doing so good but has lost a little until he gets bored and gives up.

Exercise is good, but hopefully he's not counter balancing it by eating more junk food. Only time will tell. Carl on the other hand... He won't last doing it that way. He will get bored and he'll crave other foods even more by not having them. You have to completely change your lifestyle to successfully lose weight and keep it off. Suddenly eating everything and then eating nothing but salad is more likely to make you gain weight in the long run. He would do better to just eat less. He can still have the things he likes, but in much smaller portions. That way he won't get bored and it won't seem like he's giving up anything. =)

i showed this to carl, he was like "but what excerise can i do in the house?" the gym is really expensive, we have no swimming pool, not going to be the weather for a run or jog now.

He he he, you don't need any expensive equipment. You have a floor, stairs and weighted objects in your house. Also, don't jog or run because the constant pounding on the pavement will do damage to your bones. It's much better to brisk walk. You only need to raise you heart rate and brisk walking will do that that just fine, especially if you can find any steeper paths to walk up.

"Healthy dessert" is an oxymoron. Unless it's an apple, or something.
