Elegant Storage Boxes

It's not often you see photos from me that is not food related but since going on Pinterest for the first time in ages the other day I have been very much inspired to turn junk into pretty and practical items for my home. I didn't use any tutorials or anything so these two little boxes were a try out for some larger boxes I want to transform when I get some more pretty wrapping paper.

Before covering my boxes with wrapping paper, I first covered the side and base and even over lapped into the inner box slightly with a layer of plain card, this was not only to make a nice blank canvas in case the box design could be seen through the wrapping paper but also to give the boxes extra strength as they were very thin, delicate boxes.

Now I just have to find something to put in them!.
