Forever Autumn Cupcakesby *claremanson

Inspired by, dedicated to and made in the memory of my late mum whose birthday it would have been today.

Here we have gluten free strawberry milkshake cupcakes, blue tinted white chocolate topping with edible rice paper butterflies (just search butterfly cake toppers on eBay if you are interested there are many colours) and edible silver balls.

The name of this photo is of a song [link] of which my mum loved and makes me both happy and sad very time I hear it due to the lyrics.

My mum loved wildlife so a butterfly, a free spirit free to fly in the wind without worry seemed very fitting for several reasons I won't go into today as this is something to celebrate her life not mourn her illness or loss. The blue represents the sky as we tell my kids of 5 and 2 that nanny michele is high in the sky with the stars as we are not religious nor was my mum. The silver balls represent the touch of elegance that surrounded her and the shine she brought to peoples lives of those that knew her.

R.I.P mum, I love you.
