My first cake make with gluten free flour and baking powder! I was so shocked at how like a normal cake it tasted, the chocolate layer in particular is no difference in taste at all, the bottom layer just a slight difference but you would never notice that unless you were told it was gluten free.
As it was an experiment i made half the cake chocolate and the other regular, filled with vanilla butter cream and topped with melted easter egg. I treated the flour just like normal flour and had no problems with it at all.
