Gluten free honey drizzled sponge cake, freshly homemade whipped cream, strawberries, raspberries, banana and apple with mini smartie like chocolates.
Local strawberries and raspberries are coming to an end this season along with the beautiful natural lighting so this is probably the last summer themed dessert i will be making this year.
Naturally i couldn't help but add some chocolate to the mix
i love honey, cream, chocolate and fruits together.
I got to say this was the lightest and fluffiest gluten free sponge i have made, it helps when you can bake and eat it within two hours to get that wonderful freshness you just can't buy in the shops.
My usual basic sponge cake recipe, just add your favourite fruits or toppings
