Oreo Chocolate Pots for Two + Recipe by claremanson Oreo Chocolate Pots for Two + Recipe by claremanson
Tomorrow is my 10 year anniversary with my boyfriend.
he loves oreos so had to make dessert with oreos in!
triple double Neapolitan oreos (all the way from America, can't get them here in the UK, thanks Meg!) to dunk in my homemade chocolate pots for two, but will be for 4 once the kids spot them!

RECIPE
ingredients
150g double (heavy cream)
90g dark (semi sweet) chocolate broken into pieces
65g caster (granulated sugar)

Method
1.In a pan, stirring continuously bring the cream to a boil. 2.Take off the heat, add the chocolate and sugar and stir until melted and thoroughly mixed.
3. Leave to cool for 10 minutes or If putting in the fridge to serve later, you may want to take it out of the fridge for a little in advance of serving to make it easier to dunk biscuits into.
4. store covered and consume within 3 days.

Wait, I just saw your comment! Neapolitan Oreos must have been a special edition. Here we have classic, double-stuff, golden, golden with chocolate filling and also some special edition fillings like strawberry which only comes out in the spring. I'll have to keep a look-out for the Neapolitans--I'm intrigued! :D

well i'm not too much of a fan of the normal ones, they are too sickly sweet for me but these are yummy, the best flavour i have tried so far. strawberry cream, chocolate cream and 3 layers of golden oreo biscuit, really tasty

OMG YES I TOTALLY AGREE. and they don't even taste that good with milk
The ones they make in HK (of the ones we're accustomed to anyways) are a lot tastier in my opinion even
ohh that sounds so good... if I ever go to america that's gonna be one of the first things I'll buy!!

lol yes many people share his opinion- at school, as soon as somebody brings out a pack of oreos everybody's like OMG I WANT and swarm that person :lmao:
and they look very good when you incorporate them into your cooking :)
