Oreo Rolo Cheesecake by claremanson Oreo Rolo Cheesecake by claremanson
Oreo base with the Oreo cream center mixed into the no bake cheesecake mixture topped with Rolo's.

For his birthday this year, my husband wanted his favourite cheesecake, Oreo.  I have made it before with Oreo's mixed into the cream cheese but I find it is much to heavy and sickly so decided to just use the cream and some Rolo's on top.

The following is my Oreo cheesecake recipe, just made with mint ones instead, you can use any flavour.

If you are not an Oreo fan you can also use digestive biscuits, or to you Americans Graham crackers which we don't have here in the UK.
Cheesecake Shots (+recipe) by claremanson

I'm still semi AFK after moving house 4 weeks ago but it is so good to be baking and getting back into food photography again as I get a bit more time.

Sorry for the delay, been super busy, the recipe is the one I used in the description of the mint oreo one just with plain oreos instead :)

Thanks!!  :)  And I understand; you do have a life outside DA.  It'd be unfair of me (or anyone) to push you into spending all your time here, on us.

Ah cheesecake, my favorite :)

The thing with Oreos is they're dark... I'm not really that up on dark chocolate cookie type biscuits, what else would work instead of the Oreos? (Can't stand them)

Graham crackers/digestive biscuits or if you really wanted chocolate, bourbon biscuits or any other kind of chocolate sandwich cookie, I prefer bourbons as they are not so rich, more sweet.

I have no idea what Graham crackers are...
Bourbons sounds good... used them before but I found them hard to separate from the filling :S

Looks great :) I love Rolos! (and Oreos :))
I was a bit suprised when i read in the comments that Rolos and Oreos aren't available everywhere - but then again, i think i've never seen Oreos anywhere 4 years ago, so they're still new in germany :)

It's not a big deal for me, I didn't really like the graham crackers when I had the opportunity to try them.

Huh. No Graham Crackers in the UK? That's kind'a interesting. hm... then... how do you guys make normal cheesecake? Original cheesecakes always have a graham cracker crust in the US. Or at least something very similar to it.

Digestive biscuits are our basic traditional base for baked and no bake cheesecake here. I've tried graham before thanks to an American friend on here, digestives are sweeter and round but do the same job.

A super rich flowerless chocolate cake. I came across it when I had found a whole  bunch of baker's chocolate in the pantry, and didn't know what to do with it... Careful: Can cause chocolate poisoning. XD
