It's mothers day on sunday the 18th of March here in the UK and my boyfriend sucks at presents so i decided to make his mum some cupcakes. I wasn't sure which she's prefer so i made two kinds.
Firstly the white fondant iced top has strawberry conserve in the center of the cupcake.
Secondly the butter cream topped cupcakes have the new chocolate Philadelphia in the center.
I had a lot of fun making fondant roses for the first time, they measure about 1cm each, it's also my first time covering cupcakes in fondant, as you can see i need practice!
Oh and the silver balls are edible, they are very hard but made of sugar.
