So simple. Would these still be good if I added Cocoa powder? The unsweetened kind. I also saw an idea for the little Hersheys bliss chocolates(but I plan on using Dove) and with Sugar cookies(I will used this) where you mold the dough around the chocolate and then back. It's a cookie with a melted chocolate center. Or solid if they cool enough.

Hey, I tried making these and they ended up really soft (even after they had just been made) could I have used too much cocoa powder or rolled them too thick or something? Just wondering if you could offer me pointers!

For the first time in ages i am not really sure of an answer! maybe it needs more flour next time or the butter not so soft.

would it be okay if i added some milk to this?

i tried adding some cream once and it made the cookies very soft and the texture made them taste like a soft stale cookie, i think milk may have the same effect but i am not sure so you will just have to experiment :)

it's very versatile for adapting to personal taste so you could take out some flour and replace it with more sugar

oh no, i hope it is fixed soon! make sure you don't over cook them, as soon as they have a bit of colour take them out, i over do them a lot as i end up doing 10 different things at once!

Well.....with the husband a gas engineer you would think so!....but it's taken a year for him to give our cooker a service, and now it's not working. Perhaps the baked food was keeping it together :giggle:
....I might have to invest in a timer....I frag pizzas....now thats sad :)

XD Plus I got the best jam like...ever. XD Raspberry...mmm <3 I'll post a picture of them when done and I'll send you a note. ;P

That's what I mean. A cup is very subjective where as weight makes all go smoothly.

You're welcome. Wolfram Alpha is nice because it is sensitive to the kind of material that you are using. Because 1 cup of flour is very different from 1 cup of brown sugar.
