honey and cinnamon fruit kebabs by claremanson honey and cinnamon fruit kebabs by claremanson
A wonderfuly refreshing BBQ dessert of fruit kebabs using my families favourite fruits including British strawberries (using British strawberries is very important to me, imported strawberries especially those from Spain are awful!) a drizzle of honey, a sprinkle of cinnamon and Cornish clotted cream on the side as a dip (wiki clotted cream if you don't know what it is)

Of course if you are feeling naughty you can add toasted marshmallows, mini cupcakes, brownie pieces, a chocolate sauce, etc, there are so many possilities!

Hey, random question but how did you make your watermark? I really like it cause it blurs part of the image for more protection from theft :D

Using a program called GIMP I select part of the image then use one of the blur things before adding my watermark.

Good on you for eating local! :) All the fruit and veggies we eat I buy from local farmers markets or stands on the side of the road :D you can definitely taste the difference, and you know you're putting your money back into your economy instead of someplace else. Also fruit kebabs are delicious and I want to make some now

definetly! my grandpa had his own fruit and veg shop for many years, once he passed my dad and grandma took over it until they closed when i was in my early teens because of the supermarkets taking all the business from the small local shops so i have grown up with all local fruit and veg and my grandma growing her own bits and pieces. Me and the kids planted some of our own last week, already the lettuce, tomato and spring onions have started to grow, i am so excited, i wasn't sure they would at all as i have never planted anything myself before.

Also, it makes sense. I thought -from the other picture- that it was grilled. xD

:giggle: it does make a nice change! i will definitely be making chicken/turkey skewers from now on for bbqs for me and the kids, they were amazing, the kids don't like burgers or hot dogs and they make me ill so it's a nice healthy alternative.

This looks soooo good, I'm gonna have to do this when our Swedish strawberries start selling. For I agree - the imported ones taste horrible! >.<
