Lavender

When I'm not baking, I'm gardening which I love equally as much.
Currently we are in the middle of a garden make over so there is bricks, dirt and mess everywhere but among all the chaos, there is a lot of beauty as my summer plants come into flower.
Lavender was one of my first plants I bought for my garden when we moved into this house a couple years ago as a tribute for my Grandma who loves lavender. Now I love it too, not only for the memories but for the scent, the delicate looking flowers and stems, the colour, the English country garden feel. I can sit in the garden for hours watching the bumblebees go mad over the stuff.
